Why is the pressure reading on the gauge in front of the furnace always 0.1 MP higher than the value shown by the electronically controlled instrument? The readings from the electronically controlled instrument are fairly accurate.
Because there is a height difference. Part of the pressure gauge shows the pressure of cold water, that is, the vapor pressure plus the water pressure
The pressure gauge in front of the boiler is usually installed on the operation level, and there is pressure of condensed water inside the pressure conduit of this gauge. Meanwhile, the sensors of the electronically controlled instruments are located at the actual site; the height difference between the two locations is typically around 10 meters. Therefore, it is not surprising if the displayed pressure value differs by about 0.1 MP.
