What are the methods for removing pipeline self-polymers?

This post was last edited by wang*neng on 2009-8-31 17:01. If self-polymerizes clog the pipes, we usually remove the pipes and burn them; the plastic material inside is burned until it turns to carbon before cleaning it out. How does everyone handle it?
We all had the cleaning company use a water jet to clean it.
The same goes for us; the most important thing is to find ways to reduce self-polymers.
Generally, after removing the pipes, we use self-made tools (a circular gear-like device welded to the end of a steel pipe) to clear them. If nothing else works, use fire treatment before proceeding.
I think we should focus on discussing how to reduce the auto-polymer in the pipes; and when auto-polymer appears, we use heat to deal with it as well
Perhaps the temperature here is low; it has been in use for a year now, and when the pipes are opened they don’t aggregate significantly. But aside from heating them with fire, it seems there’s no other way
We used a high-pressure water gun, and it worked well
After heating, it can be removed using a homemade tool, or with high-pressure steam
