Are there any requirements regarding the installation location of the pump outlet pressure gauge? Is it installed above or below the check valve?
Our installation order is: pump outlet---pressure gauge----check valve
Pump outlet --- pressure gauge ---- check valve is the correct installation method; It is incorrect for the pressure gauge to be placed after the check valve ; Especially when a spare pump is available, incorrect judgments can occur because the medium will flow to the spare pump. .
The pressure gauge should be installed between the check valve and the pump. As for the globe valve (the pump outlet valve), it is generally installed between the pressure gauge and the check valve, that is, at the pump outlet: pressure gauge, globe valve, check valve
The pressure gauge should be installed in front of the check valve, near the pump outlet.

If it is a water pump, it can be installed anywhere; generally, it is placed in front of the check valve. If it is a low-temperature liquid pump, it should be installed behind the check valve
On the 5th floor, for Haiyou, I think it should be: pump outlet---pressure gauge----check valve----gate valve. The gate valve should be located behind the check valve.
It should be: pump outlet — straight section after the reducer (where a pressure gauge is installed) — check valve — isolation valve. Reason: The pressure measured by the pressure gauge can accurately reflect the pump’s pressure. Here, the pressure remains stable, there are few eddy currents, and vibrations are minimal, resulting in relatively accurate readings. Even when the pump’s outlet valve is closed, it still manages to display the true pressure of the pump.
I agree with what was said on floor 10: first the reducing pipe, then the pressure gauge, followed by the check valve and the globe valve. Most factories use this type of connection
