There should be no problem; our distillation towers are all installed in this way. The temperature is slightly lower, at 57 degrees. A 100-degree medium isn’t considered too high either. As for thermal expansion and contraction, I think a elbow will be more than sufficient.

A temperature of 100 degrees at the top of the tower is not low, so it is advisable to calculate whether expansion joints are needed

The tower is 10 meters tall. The horizontal distance between the tower and the heat exchanger is designed to be 2.8 meters. Vertical height: the distance from the tower outlet to the heat exchanger inlet is 1 meter, and the heat exchanger is 2 meters above the ground. A quick calculation shows that if the 2.8 meters remains unchanged, the vertical height should be around 1.7 meters; such a height is too high and unacceptable. What should I do?
