As the title suggests, the materials I’ve reviewed are all about dynamic simulations of temperature, components, etc. Why aren’t there any examples of pressure oscillations? May I ask the experts how to use AD to simulate the changes in separation performance caused by pressure fluctuations in the flash tank? I borrowed two books from the school library: \"Chemical Reactor Design and Control\" by William, and \"Distillation Design and Control Using Aspen Simulation.\" I still find it hard to understand the concepts clearly~~~ I earnestly ask for help from experts
Uh, moderator, no one has read my post yet, and no one has answered me either. Please don’t mark it as read so quickly; the forum is just too busy~~~ Back to the topic: in my experiment, I am using a bubble column for carrying out the reaction and separating the products. I manually adjust the pressure in the bubble column using a pressure controller, and pressure fluctuations are employed to increase the reaction conversion rate. I’m using AD for simulation; my idea is to use an RPlug reactor (since there are kinetic data available), with the products then going into a SEP flash tank for separation. AD is used to control the pressure in the flash tank and to create pressure fluctuations. I’m not sure if this approach will work!
The post shouldn’t get buried – the problem hasn’t been resolved yet; AD is unable to simulate flashing, so can HYSYS simulate pressure fluctuations in the flash tank?
