What are the causes of fluctuations in the secondary oil pressure of a turbine?
There are changes in the valve adjustment, along with changes in load. We have been through it before. Slight fluctuations in pump outlet pressure. It causes secondary oil pressure fluctuations. It turned out to be caused by vibration in the lubricating oil pipeline. Apply rubber at the pivot of the lubricating oil pipeline. The problem was solved. However, it is certain that the conditions of the turbine have changed. Check whether there are any changes in the inlet pressure, flow rate, and outlet pressure of the turbine.
The question is a bit too general. Based on my experience, you can check the throttle spool to see if there is any sticking. If necessary, the slide valve speed control screw can be adjusted. See if it works.
It may be due to gas entrained in the oil; in this case, the secondary oil pressure fluctuates and the oil pipelines vibrate as well.
It seems that this should be done under the guidance of the manufacturer. Regarding the settings for the pulse response, amplitude, and rotation speed of the throttle spool, although it is necessary to make adjustments, most people are too hesitant to do so. We have several instances of incorrect throttle operation, during which a slight creaking sound can be heard; there is some sticking, and this could indeed be one of the causes. It’s also possible that the PID parameters, together with the secondary oil pressure and the linear travel of the hydraulic actuator, are not optimized. Fluctuations in the high-pressure oil supplied by the oil pump are another issue, but this can be largely controlled by adjusting the pressure stabilizing check valve connected to the high-pressure oil supply for the incorrect throttle operation. Tap that copper rod against the throttle housing near the faulty throttle spool to see if the fluctuations improve.

Hehe, it’s really not a joke. There are adjustment screws available to regulate the direction of rotation and the vertical pulsation of fuel injection, but if the sticking of the throttle valve stem is caused by sludge inside, adjusting these screws seems to have little effect. Knocking or shaking it can sometimes have a remarkable effect, and this is supported by practical experience (of course it doesn’t cure all diseases); it mainly allows for handling and assessment while the unit is in operation.
The 4th floor is the correct answer; for problems of this kind, over 80% of cases are caused by sticking of the throttle spool. The throttle error motor has two plug seals at the top and bottom; inside them there are two very small adjustment needle valves: the one on top is used to adjust the speed of the throttle error slide valve, while the one below is used to adjust the amount of vibration of that same slide valve, and these adjustments can be made online!
