The burner has a short operating life, and there is currently no perfect solution for this issue, as it is due to the special medium involved, which causes severe erosion and scouring. For water-coal slurry gasifiers, Texaco burners typically last around 50 days, while multi-nozzle gasifier burners generally last around 80 days. Of course, the new Texaco burner from Shandong Lunan Fertilizer Factory can operate at around 150. As for the burner, its lifespan is primarily affected by the wear caused by the coal slurry and the erosion from corrosive gases in the furnace. Under certain operating conditions, the main improvement is made to the material.
