In the production of heat exchangers, there is often no good way to cut the heat exchange tubes to the desired length. Previously, we would cut them to a length of about 20 MM and then drill off the excess material, which was very troublesome. I would like to know if other companies have any better methods to solve this issue.
We are the same; they’re usually a little over 5 inches long. We cut them to a flat length after the tubes are in place. They’re made of titanium, and they undergo self-dissolution without any elongation
Before assembly, it is usually processed using a lathe or a toothless saw; after assembly, it is ground to the desired size with a portable grinder.
