As mentioned, I originally wanted to use ASPEN DYNAMICS to simulate the pressure oscillation of the flash tank, but I couldn't find the relevant literature. I wonder if hysys can do it?
Both ASPEN DYNAMICS and hysys can calculate

It is possible to simulate a flash tank, but it is a bit dangerous to simulate its pressure oscillation... I wonder what the pressure oscillation the poster mentioned is like
HYSYS can simulate flash tanks, but you need to pay attention when switching to dynamic: 1. The volume of the tank must be given. 2. Dynamic simulation generally determines three quantities, the pressure of the feed, the pressure at the top of the tank (used to control the pressure of the tank), and the flow rate at the bottom of the tank (used to control the liquid level of the tank). You can see it in the dynamic tab of each stream. Then you can determine whether it is a fixed pressure or a flow rate. Just decide according to the above principles. 3. Add control valves to the three streams (the feed valve can be omitted, it does not have much impact), and then add a controller on the vap value to control the pressure. In liq Add a controller to the valve to control the liquid level
To add, the pressure fluctuation is achieved by using a transfer function. Just set the transfer function type to the type you want and start dynamic simulation.
