Ideas for a new position: I am very grateful for Chen Junchao’s trust in me, and I am honored to serve as his assistant in the fertilizer department. In my new role, in an effort to assist the forum as much as possible, I have put forward the following ideas on how to increase the number of posts in the fertilizer section and foster a more active atmosphere for technical discussions. I would like to discuss these ideas with my senior colleagues and the moderators of the nitrogen fertilizer section; any criticism or suggestions are welcome. 1. The synthetic ammonia section has always been the section within the fertilizer category that sees the highest number of posts and boasts the most active technical discussions; it can be said to be the backbone of this category at present. Chen Junchao is right; aside from the support of the many sailors, the management team in the ammonia synthesis area played a key role. I hope the moderators of this section will continue to work hard and maintain the current momentum. 2. The number of posts in the nitrogen fertilizer area is slightly lower compared to that in the synthetic ammonia area. Over the past few months, thanks to various activities and the efforts of the moderators, the number of posts has increased and popularity has risen, but there is still a significant gap from the goal of 100 posts per day. Based on an analysis of the current posts, the characteristic of posts from the nitrogen fertilizer category is that they focus mainly on urea. In fact, the scope of nitrogen fertilizers includes not only urea but also nitric acid, **, etc. (for more details, see the introduction to nitrogen fertilizers); yet there are relatively few posts discussing this aspect. I believe that as long as the number of discussion posts other than those related to urea is increased, it is entirely possible for the nitrogen fertilizer section to achieve the goal of posting 100 posts per day. Therefore, it is hoped that the moderators of the nitrogen fertilizer section will, in addition to recruiting users who are familiar with urea to join the management team (as moderators or technical experts), also deliberately seek out users who have knowledge of nitric acid, **, melamine, and similar substances to strengthen the management team, so as to boost the popularity of this section. At the same time, it is also hoped that the moderators of the nitrogen fertilizer section will organize well the current activities of \"posting one topic per day\" and offering rewards for active responses, and continue to carry them out. 3. The sections for compound fertilizers and functional fertilizers have consistently seen fewer posts and lower popularity. In fact, this area covers quite a lot of content and has a wide scope, and the technical topics discussed are also diverse; it shouldn’t be the case this way. Therefore, it is hoped that the moderator of this section will find ways to increase popularity and the number of posts, by carrying out activities (it is recommended to develop activity plans based on those currently being carried out in the synthetic ammonia area and the nitrogen fertilizer area). Otherwise, in the long run, it will truly have no reason to exist. Of course, we also hope that those involved in the production of compound fertilizers and functional fertilizers will participate more in the discussions on this forum, thus providing a platform for technical exchanges within this industry. Through communication, you often achieve unexpected results. 4. In the process of management, moderators of each section should be adept at identifying enthusiastic users with a certain level of technical skill, and recommend or encourage them to join the management team; it’s fine to have a slightly larger number of such members, as anyone might be unable to maintain the high standards required of an excellent moderator due to work or other reasons. 5. Regarding the management of team members, technical discussants, or technical experts (collectively referred to as team members), it is recommended to determine exactly how many such members there are in each section of the fertilizer division, to conduct quantitative assessments, and to implement a system of selection based on performance. At the same time, it is recommended to further strengthen the technical team, using its members to guide marine enthusiasts to participate in discussions. 6. For the evaluation of moderators in various sections, in addition to metrics such as the number of management actions and online time, it is recommended to add one more criterion: the average number of posts posted per day. For example, the number of production lines in the synthetic ammonia sector is initially set at 90, 70 for the nitrogen fertilizer sector, and 40 for the compound and functional fertilizer sectors. The above are merely some immature ideas I have since being assigned to the new position; I hope everyone will offer their valuable suggestions. In short, I believe that no matter which approach is taken, the most important thing is to strive to motivate all members to participate actively, so that marine enthusiasts can help one another through communication and exchange during the participation process, thereby meeting their respective needs and gaining benefits from it.

The compound fertilizer sector has its own particularities. It seems that although there are many people working in this field, there are only a few large manufacturers; in most companies, there is usually just one or two people who are truly skilled in this area (in my company, it’s just me). Even those who are skilled may not be aware that the Haichuan Chemicals Forum has a dedicated section for compound fertilizers. A few days ago, I brought in two technical staff members from fertilizer manufacturers I know, and it seems they got up to speed right away. It appears that promotion is an issue, and this requires the efforts of everyone involved. The equipment used in the production of compound fertilizers is relatively simple – it consists of the same types of machines everywhere. Even with new technologies available, few people use them; everyone opts for the most proven methods, as no one wants to take risks. The technologies are already highly mature, and the issues that need to be addressed have basically all been discussed before. Posts about new technical problems are rare. The compound fertilizer companies I have come into contact with are generally small and medium-sized enterprises; most of them do not have engineers specialized in equipment maintenance (in contrast, the phosphate chemical industry is usually part of the larger chemical industry, so the situation there is better). They rely on a few machine repairmen to handle such tasks, and this might be one of the reasons why there are few posts related to equipment issues. I think it’s time to mobilize the customers who frequently visit the compound fertilizer area to step up promotional efforts in that sector, and to recommend it more often to other manufacturers or the company’s own technical staff; in the long run, this approach will yield better results than holding events. In addition, production equipment manufacturers are welcome to bring their best products to the exhibition area for promotion

When I was in urgent need of information, Haichuan gave me a lot of help； When I’m unsure about certain options, I go to Haichuan to see if anyone else has any opinions ； Haichuan provides us with a platform for communication, where we can interact with one another. In the future, I will participate more actively in the Haichuan Forum, communicate and interact with my peers more often, and contribute my part to the development of Haichuan
