There are no special requirements; just don’t turn off the engine and don’t reverse. We lead it to an open area using rubber hoses, and then connect a DN20 fitting to it at the entrance of the soil furnace (at the end of the everlasting flame, similar to a torch tip)
I haven’t heard of any specific regulations, but it shouldn’t be too detailed; a flame arrester needs to be installed. Ours is DN25.

In our facility: when there isn’t enough gas for combustion, a pipe is connected to release the gas into the atmosphere. Of course, this is only a temporary solution; doing this on a regular basis is wasteful and pollutes the environment.
