The steam pipeline in front of the main steam valve of the turbine is vented; this practice is used during the pressure-raising and warming-up process. I’m not sure what other purpose this venting serves – what is the role of venting during pipe warming? Thank you
During pipe warming, drain the condensate to prevent liquid slugging.
Heating and pressure rise rates when controlling the heating tube
Turbines have high requirements regarding the quality of steam; not even a trace of water is allowed! The vent line is used to prevent water from entering, and it remains at a certain opening level during normal operation.
There is another function: it allows the pressure relief valve to be opened in a timely manner when the main steam pressure becomes too high. Maintain the normal operation of the steam turbine.
This is a warm pipe vent, used in front of the main steam valve; it is only for venting steam. Any condensed liquid will be removed through backflow. It is the pipe between the main steam warm valve and the electric valve.

First of all, it should be noted that this tube is absolutely necessary; it is used during the heating process. Without this tube, there is \"dead air\" before the quick shut-off valve, making it very difficult to meet the requirement of reaching a temperature of 50°C for operation. And without this tube, a significant amount of energy is wasted in order to raise the temperature.
For warm pipe venting, there should be two valves
Could that expert provide the name of a reference material, and advise on how it should be designed and what precautions to take?
Used to warm the pipes with steam while driving; it is turned off under normal operation and turned on in case of an accident to prevent steam overpressure.
