As someone born in the 1980s, I have heard too many criticisms directed at people from that generation. Before, they would just laugh it off; they probably don’t understand people born in the 1980s at all, as they lack such life experiences. Just as **said, \"Without investigation, there’s no right to speak,\" they have no right to talk about those born in the 1980s. Today, a conversation with a leader made me reflect – I was indeed wrong; there are indeed many problems among us born in the 1980s! Because I believe it’s impossible for the majority to be wrong, and those of us born in the 1980s are not wrong. We who were born in the 1980s have experienced too much smooth sailing; we can’t stand hardship or endure setbacks! We who were born in the 1980s are *accustomed to asking for things, but unwilling to give anything in return. Dreaming of getting something for free! We who were born in the 1980s always think we’re right and that others are wrong! We who were born in the 1980s cry and wail when we suffer losses, but are overjoyed when we reap benefits!

No, people born in the 1980s are not like that. They were part of the generation that experienced reform and opening up; they were exposed to new cultures and educational systems. Under the guidance of the previous generation, they possessed a spirit of hard work and endurance. However, compared to those born in the 1990s, we are not as fashionable as them, and compared to the previous generation, we do not have as much resilience as them. We are a generation caught in between.
