Another advantage is that we use shorter forged rings, in which the fiber orientation of the material is not disrupted (resulting in greater stability), unlike in the 2-piece valve design; this issue becomes more severe as the diameter increases, though valves with a diameter of up to 4 inches are not affected or at risk. The above is a comparison between 3-piece valves and 2-piece valves – could you please help me understand what this means?
