Do overlapping heat exchangers have to be stacked together for heat treatment? Can it be done separately?

It depends on the size of the equipment; for smaller devices, it’s possible to carry out heat treatment on two of them together, while for larger devices, heat treatment can be performed separately.

Heat treatment is used to eliminate internal stresses, not external ones. Also, if there is overlapping, as someone mentioned earlier, fasteners cannot be heat-treated; doing so would have the opposite effect. That’s just my personal opinion
