I heard that Qingdao’s large oil refinery uses Hartman hard-sealed ball valves. This time, it was found that the high-pressure cut-off valves from Hopkinson and Workwear are exorbitantly expensive – much more so than a few years ago. The OMB metal-sealed ball valves from Italy are slightly cheaper. This company does not produce comprehensive products; it focuses on specific applications.
I learned a bit more: For double-plate high-pressure cut-off valves, Hopkinson has the best performance but also the highest prices. The tooling business has also achieved some results this year. Pacific and Tyco also have relevant performance, but not much. Ball valves: Hartman’s hard-sealed ball valves are used in Qingdao Refinery and Hainan Refinery. Willan also has corresponding ball valves.
