Laws and regulations for registered chemical engineers

What does the exam for registering as a chemical engineer cover in terms of laws and regulations? Does it involve legal provisions?
Also, I was wondering if Tianjin University has released any new textbooks this year. I’m using an old textbook from 2004 that I borrowed from someone else; I’m not sure if there have been significant changes. If anyone knows, please let me know
I’m not sure if there’s a new version this year; generally, such books aren’t updated very often. By 2008, the textbooks still used were the 2004 edition ones. Besides, the knowledge points remain the same; there can’t be any major changes. Once you get hold of one, make an effort to read it!

I agree with what was said above; generally, as long as one studies the textbooks carefully and does the practice problems in them thoroughly, there should be no major issues.
