Based on the responses to the survey regarding the requirements for forum procedures, as well as my own understanding of those procedures, I have summarized some fairly good suggestions (they may not necessarily be implemented, and please forgive any omissions or misinterpretations). I ask those whose suggestions were not selected to forgive me; your suggestions are still available in the original post, and they might turn out to be valuable ideas in the future! It is recommended to discuss each item separately and invite cleaners to participate actively, as they are most familiar with the forum procedures and can assess the feasibility. (The part related to red envelopes was replied by the cleaner.) 1. Could a memory function be added? When a user downloads a certain file, there should be a reminder showing “You have already downloaded this file” – ccbi-jc. Could you provide a website where I can learn about this? I still don’t know the exact method; different forums use different programs, and their functions also vary. 2. Create a HaiChuan Chemicals journal (online version) for internal distribution among HaiChuan’s members, published on a monthly or bi-monthly basis, with content focusing on the most important and hot topics discussed in the technical exchange section. ----ccbi-jc – One issue was published previously; we have a lot of content available, but due to insufficient staffing we cannot guarantee the quality, so we are not considering it for now. 3. Create a betting section; given the overlap with lottery forums, it would be sufficient to focus on popular soccer bets only. 1 to 2 matches can be recommended each day, with virtual rewards given as prizes. ----skybiue123——The lottery area will not be considered for establishment. 4. Since downloading software using multiple threads can result in loss of data, it is recommended that forum programs disable multi-threaded downloading and instead allow downloads via the \"Save As\" option. I still think the traditional method of right-clicking on the file and selecting \"Save As\" is better. --yajie0312—— I also believe that the \"Save As\" method is superior, but since the new program does not support it, there is no solution to this issue. 5. Could we consider adding banking functions? In that case, there would be no need for loans; just interest on deposits would be sufficient—yajie0312. We’ve talked about banks before, but for a website like Haichuan, which has a relatively large database, each upgrade could result in the loss of banking-related data. So it’s better not to include such a redundant function. 6. The daily gambling red envelope is a good option – the amount ranges from -10 to 10, and it can be claimed every day upon logging in; however, one’s wealth may increase or decrease, and the risks are borne by the user themselves. ---yajie0312――Construction should be creative; further discussion is possible on this topic. 7. It would be good to create a set of forum emojis related to seas and rivers, such as those from the Box series, Green Bean Frogs, Silly Bears, etc. When feeling down, posting pictures is a great way to vent one’s emotions ; Unique expressions give the forum more personality and vitality. ---Muzi – her expression now includes two additional sets of expressions; if you know of any better expressions, please recommend them to me. Up to 4 sets is advisable; too many will affect the loading of posts. When there is active discussion in a post and a certain number of replies are posted, it will automatically be marked as a highlight, with additional rewards given and these rewards highlighted so that people know what they can learn from it. ---Muzi – The suggestion is good; it can be considered. I’ll first check whether it’s technically feasible. Additionally, to boost everyone’s participation and interest, we could organize an emoji voting campaign to select the set of emojis that everyone likes the most, with another set being chosen after half a year. ---Muzi – It’s possible; a leisure area or an office area could be considered for this purpose. 8. A cloud storage area should be set up, where materials that are uploaded via cloud storage can be stored all in one place, making it easier for members with lower points to download them. ---There are many free cloud storage services available, such as BigWind and Nanodisk. The forum should no longer offer this feature, as the existing resources are not sufficient to support the setup of new servers. 9. Launch a professional recruitment website; even if it can’t compete with Zhaopin and ChinaHR.com, it can still rival ordinary recruitment sites specialized in the petrochemical and oil industries. ---Wolf Smoke – The suggestion is excellent; the creation of a continuous flow area represents the first step in that direction. 10. Hai Chuan should also carry out some advertising on his own. ---Wolf Smoke – it should be created there; considering its promotion can only be done when there is more income available in the future. 11. As for those badges in the forum, there should be less trading of them and more rewards given to members who post high-quality content, regardless of whether they are first-year users or experts in technical discussions. ---The badge system could be integrated; currently, the existing system does award badges to outstanding members, and these outstanding members aren’t always at the level of first-graders. HaiChuan suffers from a significant loss of talent, especially expert-level professionals, and since its own financial resources are sufficient, it is recommended to introduce a HaiChuan honor system—eleg. What specific suggestions do you have? 13. On top of the current upgrade system, another set of technical titles should be established for those who post fewer posts but of higher quality. The evaluation criteria for this additional set of technical titles should be based on the number of high-quality posts posted. ---WBP – the section for members to recommend themselves as technical discussants is now open to such people. 14. Publishing the usernames of technical experts and discussants in each forum section, below the moderators, would, in my opinion, facilitate communication between members and these technical experts and discussants. Up to now, I still don’t know which technical experts and discussants are in our heat exchange area. ---jia717——This is a good suggestion. I will inform the heads of each sub-forum to compile a list of technical experts in their respective areas; these lists will first be posted in the main forum’s top post. Once things are more organized, the location of these lists can be adjusted. 15. It is suggested to add a section for expert profiles on the forum——Wang Mingyue. It’s quite likely that this can be implemented at present. 16. The standards for professionalism on this forum are already quite comprehensive; it’s difficult to add more to them. Rewards should be given for any new standards that are introduced in the future. A section dedicated to answering questions about these standards should be created, where explanations can be provided for those aspects that are difficult to understand or require further clarification; those who provide such explanations should be rewarded generously.—*e*enin——This has been forwarded to the head of the Process Engineering section for consideration. 17. It is suggested to add a section for trading valuable materials. Members can trade such materials freely, and the forum can collect a tax on these transactions. ---Snow on Xiling Mountains. – Transactions in RMB are not supported at the moment; the wealth trading system only offers a selling function (not available yet). 18. Is it possible to create a program that rewards members whose post counts reach whole hundred values? For example, 100, 200, 300, 400. . . A varying amount of wealth is automatically awarded upon posting. Create a program that can identify the members who have posted the most posts in each category on a given day, designate a Daily Star, and award them rewards. --Hanguang Duanshui – The quality of a post should still be determined by the ratings given by premium members. 19. Is it possible to have groups when adding friends on the forum? Can I customize the group name? Can groups be selected when sending mass text messages, so as to send them in groups as defined? Now, to send mass SMS messages, one has to click on each message individually; there aren’t even all options available. For better management, it is recommended that super moderators be able to implement this feature. ---Tekchina – This feature is not available yet. 20. The forum chat room feature means that there is a chat area in the forum’s sidebar; registered members can post messages, and it offers an instant messaging function. ——*QIU – This feature is not available yet. That’s all. Discussions should not take place here; they should be carried out in separate threads in the appropriate discussion area. ————————————————————
