Hello, everyone in TX! I’m looking for ways to pour the contents out of large tanks quickly and easily. For tank handling, we use electric tank pumps and manual pumps, but both types of pumps often break down. Is there any good solution? Thank you!

In many companies, a type of conveyor vehicle is used; for example, such vehicles are employed in soap factories to handle fats and oils. It can be used as a reference.
We mainly use vacuum suction, which is clean and fast. However, when pumping, it is necessary to be aware of the material being handled and to pay attention to safety; special care must be taken with flammable and explosive chemical materials.
A self-priming pump can also be used, but the properties of the material must be taken into consideration. Vacuum is a good choice.
The best approach is to consider using low-pressure nitrogen or low-pressure compressed air to force the material out of the tank; however, the tank must have two holes, which need to be sealed, and the pressure must be carefully controlled so that it isn’t too high. This method is both convenient and fast.
It depends on the state of the material: 1. If the material is solid at room temperature, it needs to be heated to liquefy, and then various methods such as vacuum suction, gear pumps, mobile submersible pumps, or pouring can be used to remove the material from the tank, depending on the viscosity of the material; 2. If the material is a liquid at room temperature, simply choose an appropriate method of discharge based on the properties of that material.
Nowadays, turntable conveyors are used; if none are available, the vacuum extraction method can be considered. Hehe, there’s another option: create a specialized tool for unloading the cylinder, something like a lifting rack, and then use a crane to lift it and turn it over. Of course, if the cylinder isn’t needed anymore, you can lift it and make a hole at the bottom, though that would be a bit wasteful
