Are 3mm-thick thin-walled stainless steel pipes subjected to a pressure test upon leaving the factory? Are such steel pipes generally welded or seamless? What is the maximum water pressure it can withstand? Is water seeping from the pipe under a pressure of 10 kilograms (with the water temperature at normal pressure) considered a pipeline quality issue?
Pipe pressure testing is related to the design pressure of the pipe. When purchasing steel pipes, it should be specified whether they are seamless or welded; if they are welded pipes, this can be determined by their appearance. The leakage you mentioned is likely due to a problem with the quality of the pipes; there might be sand in them.
