Under what circumstances can a registered engineer play the role of a senior engineer? Which one is more effective? Why?
A senior engineer title is obtained through evaluation, while a certified engineer title is acquired through examinations; certified engineers are needed when design institutes prepare drawings. There is no direct contact between the senior engineer and the technician
Are registered engineers the same as senior engineers?
It’s different. Having a high-level engineering degree does not necessarily guarantee admission as a registered engineer, such as a registered chemical engineer. But just because one is admitted does not necessarily mean they are better in every aspect than those who were not admitted. Because many practical things cannot be found in books.
This is where the two have a substantial difference. Senior engineers rely mainly on work experience ； And the workers need to take an exam. So there is no such thing as any interconnection
