I don’t understand. Are you referring to all of the pumps tripping, or just a few of them? If all of them trip, it might indicate a fault; if it’s due to overcurrent when starting large equipment, that’s the cause.
My opinion is: production has returned to normal. So a sudden power outage is caused by the power system. It’s a power outage in the electrical system. Due to issues with the production equipment, it can at most cause fluctuations in the system. The protection of individual devices should be highly robust, with multiple levels of protection working together in order to prevent any impact on the system. There are also many reasons for power outages in electrical systems, but in any case, there should be records of the protective actions taken.
What the poster is referring to is whether it’s a power outage caused by a tripped circuit breaker or a tripped busbar feed switch. If it’s just one circuit that’s offline, then it’s definitely the protection device for that circuit that has tripped; check to see if there are any abnormalities in the equipment of that circuit； If it’s a busbar power outage, it might be due to the simultaneous start-up of too many high-power motors; however, it could also be a temporary shutdown for maintenance by the power supply authorities. We can determine the cause by checking whether the switch protection mechanisms have been activated.
