What is excess steam? I’ve seen in forums that steam that has not been cooled in time after work is done is referred to as excess steam. So, is the steam coming from the reboiler at the bottom of the tower also considered excess steam? Thank you

Isn’t it the case that everything coming out of the heavy boiler gets condensed into water! So does that mean that part of it has already turned into water inside!
Hehe, that’s waste steam; check on waste steam. It is steam with a very low quality after doing work. It is relatively difficult to recycle.
