The company is planning to buy a muffle furnace recently. Where can one find muffle furnaces that are of high quality at competitive prices?
This is the website of China Chemical Instrument Network; you can check it online at http://www.chem17.com/Product/Detail/1591390.html
We use those from Shandong Longkou Electric Furnace Factory – the quality is good.
If you really want something cheap, then make it yourself. A muffle furnace essentially consists of resistance wires, refractory bricks, a temperature controller, and thermocouples – and these are all available in most workshops. A technician, an electrician, and a plumber are enough to build one; many workshops do this in this way
The product quality of several well-known manufacturers in the domestic market is quite good. As for the price, as long as negotiations are conducted carefully and no additional public relations costs or kickbacks are imposed on the manufacturer, it won’t be too expensive……
I’ve used those from Tianjin and Shanghai. As the person above mentioned, it’s better to make them by oneself; if there are any old or unused bricks available, those with holes through which the resistance wires pass are particularly useful. The rest, such as asbestos and ordinary fire-resistant bricks, can be found in factories. Adding a thermocouple and a digital display makes the device even more effective. And the power can be adjusted according to the temperature and heating rate required for your experiments, 1# haohan1982
We’re using the ones from Longkou, Shandong as well, and they work pretty well.
