Shift workers have different working schedules from other employees; are there any common sense tips regarding daily life that you could share with us? Thank you. . . . . . . .
Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and pay attention to getting enough rest!
I think the most important thing is to make reasonable and full use of time. Seize the time----the world is vast! :victory:
Does the landlord work shifts? You can ask the experienced workers at your workplace for advice; they will tell you how to take care of your health. More importantly, if the relationship is good, they will tell you how to find time to take a short nap without being noticed, how to save energy to do your work well, and how to get out of shift work and move up the ladder.
Our shift system comes in two types: 1) a four-shift, two-shift system for electrical equipment and instruments, with the possibility to rest during night shifts; 2. The production facility operates on a five-shift system with three shifts per day, and the middle shift and night shift workers are not allowed to take breaks. The middle shift is manageable; most people can handle it. The night shift, on the other hand, is much more difficult – no matter how well you rest, you still feel sleepy at 2 or 4 o’clock in the morning. To avoid being seen by the supervisors, you can drink something stimulating like coffee or tea, and catch up on sleep the next day.
There are so many common sense points regarding shift work; just do it in a way that makes you comfortable. But the main goal is to get rid of the fate of shift work.
I have been working shifts for five years now. Four shifts per week, with a three-shift rotation – it’s quite exhausting overall. The night shift is especially tough, as there’s a lot of pressure and concerns; after working through the night, one has to sleep all day, and still doesn’t feel very refreshed. When working late, pay attention to taking care of your stomach; you can drink some stomach-soothing soups around 3 or 4 o’clock and avoid eating spicy foods. Before my stomach problems started, I could eat 7 or 8 ice pops in one go during the summer without any issue ; I’m on night shift now; I ate a little something and then got diarrhea. What a lesson
Look at how lucky you guys in state-owned enterprises are; we all have to work three shifts a week, it’s exhausting. **Ah, the laws are complete nonsense
If I can get some sleep at night, I do so quietly; after all, my body is mine own, and staying up late causes the most damage to it. We’re about to start working on a shift system of four shifts per week, three days on and two days off – meaning we’ll have to lead an \"abnormal\" lifestyle from now on~
Get a few hours of sleep before starting the shift, prepare something warm to eat in the evening, eat more fruits, and exercise regularly to maintain good health
