Selection of π-type compensated elbow

In the pipeline network of the site, π-shaped bends are used at the turns of the pipelines to address deformation issues; how should 90-degree elbows be selected? What is the multiple of D for a 90-degree elbow R? What is the basis for this? It would be great if standard numbers or manual titles could be provided, along with page numbers and relevant provisions. Thank you for your help……
Generally, stress calculations are required for this; for ordinary pipes, the \"Heat Energy Engineering Design Manual\" can be referred to, which contains relevant charts
For fluids such as oils and utilities, 1.5D elbows are used for the pipelines; a separate calculation is applied for pipelines carrying solid substances!
