Corrosion protection for household independent heating pipelines

My home uses a gas water heater with independent heating and a closed water system. I’m worried that over time the inner walls might corrode or become scaled. Are there any good additives for this purpose? Where else can it be bought?

With home heating, there’s not much to consider, right? If possible, one can adjust the pH level of the circulating water, but I’ve never encountered a situation where anti-corrosion measures are necessary for home heating
