Urgent…… Fixed-roof storage tanks with capacities of 10,000 cubic meters and 20,000 cubic meters are used to store diesel. 1. Should drain holes equipped with drainage pipes be installed, or cleaning ports? The book states that heavy oil tanks usually have cleaning ports, while light oil tanks generally have sewage outlets equipped with drain pipes. I think my storage tank should have a cleaning port with a drain pipe – is that okay? 2. The drain outlet with a water discharge pipe can only be installed below the tank bottom plate, not on the lower side of the tank wall, right? 3. How many drain outlets equipped with drain pipes should be installed in 10,000 cubic meter and 20,000 cubic meter fixed-roof storage tanks respectively? Refer to Table 10 on page P9 of the \"Design Code for Tank Areas in Petrochemical Storage and Transportation Systems\"; it states that for tanks with a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters, there should be 2 drain holes and 1 drainage pipe with a DN100 diameter. How should these 2 drain holes and 1 drainage pipe be arranged? Does that mean one hole has a drainage pipe while the other does not? Is it okay to have only one sewage outlet along with a drain pipe? For a volume of 20,000 cubic meters, it is specified to have 3 sewage outlets and 2 drainage pipes of DN100. The problems are the same as those for a volume of 10,000 cubic meters; is it possible to have only 2 sewage outlets in total, each equipped with its own drainage pipe?
OP, the sewage and drainage systems should be synchronized when used together! ! ! If they are inconsistent, they are set separately! ! ! That is: waste discharge is at the edge of the tank bottom, while drainage is on the tank bottom ring plate. Two symmetric arrangements and three equidistant arrangements will do! !
