If we intend to produce secondary metallurgical coke, may I ask what type of coal should be purchased for blending? Coal quality parameters: Name, Grade, Industrial analysis (%), Total sulfur (%), Phosphorus (%), Caking index, Gel layer thickness (mm), Oya expansion, Mad, Ad, Vdaf, St,d, Pd, G, X, Y, T1, T2, T3, ΔT, a%, b%. Coal No. 1: QM44 – 3.92, 7.81, 37.42, 0.60, 0.009, 50, 3**, 10.0, 384/444, 60, 33.5; only contraction. Coal No. 2: QM43 – 3.17, 10.04, 37.87, 0.52, 0.037, 48, 32.5, 8.3, 384/449, 65, 35.0; only contraction. Coal No. 3: QM45 – 2.32, 5.18, 39.54, 3.40, 0.002, 90, 37.0, 14.0, 343, 409, 445, 102, 33.0, 36.6
Are all three of these coals bituminous coal? The bonding index is different, isn’t it?
The following suggestions are for reference: 1. Quality standards for secondary coke: M25 > 88%, M10 > 8.5%, Ad > 13.5%, St < 0.8, CRI > 35%, CSR > 50%. 2. 1# and 2# should be QM; 3# should be gas-fertilized coal. JM, SM, or lean coal should also be purchased.
