Why aren’t solid-state relays used in PLC cabinets?

In PLC cabinets, relay types with contacts are generally used – why isn’t anyone using solid-state relays? Solid-state relays shouldn’t be much more expensive either; there are options available with a low current rating of 5A as well. I don’t know why no one is using it?
Solid-state relays are generally used directly to drive loads rather than as control relays, because they lack auxiliary contacts that can be utilized!
There are solid-state relays used in PLC cabinets! Our unit’s pelletizing machine uses solid-state relays for the heating control of the insulation heating tape.
