The exam is finally over; I don’t think my results were good. How about everyone else? There are some questions in the basic professional knowledge section that I couldn’t answer; I had to guess. For the professional case studies, there were 0 questions in the morning and 15 questions in the afternoon. I didn’t know how to answer any of the questions related to reactions. I won’t retake it this time; I’ll try again next year
I took the professional exam too; it was my first time, and I underestimated it greatly. There are so many case studies; it’s impossible to finish them all, shit. How much NPSH is there in that test paper this afternoon? I didn’t study at all; I can’t answer a single question. It’s frustrating
Several questions are already ready; you can just copy them. It’s beneficial to do more exercises!
There’s one available; which book does it appear in? How come I didn’t run into it? There are so many questions!
I did 19 in the morning and finished all of them in the afternoon; I’m not sure if they’re correct. It seemed a bit difficult in the morning, while it was easier in the afternoon. It’s very effective to go through those key formulas carefully and understand them before the exam.
I guess the expert must have at least a master’s degree, right? The foundation is so good. . .
Strong people, it has not much to do with having a master’s degree; what matters is the foundation one has, as well as whether they studied before the exam. The questions seemed not too difficult, but some of them were things that weren’t covered in class, so they didn’t know how to answer them because they hadn’t reviewed them before the exam. Distillation, pumping – there are no issues with those. Things like drying, evaporation, and getting confused as soon as they’re seen; but when it comes to questions related to distillation and pumps, those aren’t that difficult (I imagine). Hehe, I only completed 33 questions, and now I realize I’ve gotten at least 3 wrong. It’s frustrating because they were all quite simple questions – it’s just that I haven’t done any problems for a long time. So I don’t really have any sense when doing problems. . I must recover well next year
Professional case, 0 questions in the morning? Who is that? Must have made a mistake. There are indeed talented people; I checked it out – last year, someone from Jiangxi Chemical Engineering Design Institute scored 86 points on that exam, which is 30 points more than me. That’s amazing. Here, we have a young graduate who just graduated last year; he barely flipped through the books at all, didn’t even read half of them, yet he scored 176 points on the basic knowledge test. Isn’t that impressive? I’m hoping she can help me with the theory guidance next year
You’re all being too kind. Actually, I prepared quite thoroughly before the exam. People who took the exam last year said there were several key topics that needed to be focused on: heat transfer calculations, pump calculations involving NPSH and installation height, distillation calculations, and drying processes. Before the exam, I went through all those formulas carefully and did some practice problems, which made it much easier for me to find the necessary formulas during the actual exam. The questions in the morning of the second day were quite difficult, and my answers weren’t very good. The questions in the afternoon were simpler, so it was easier to work on them. For the professional exam subjects, it still takes some time to work on the questions.
That’s amazing; it’s likely that one will pass without any problems. As long as the answer given matches one of the options, success is almost guaranteed. Even if there are some distracting options, it won’t affect the overall outcome.
I just took the basic exam; it seemed quite simple, but I’m not entirely confident. I plan to take it again next year and pursue the specialized exam the year after that.
