Before starting the operation, it is first necessary to purge the steam pipes; before introducing steam, check that the blowdown valves on all steam lines are open
Open the steam bypass line, start the steam pipeline backwash, and introduce steam into the system slowly to avoid liquid slugging. Drain any water accumulated in the pipes, then gradually increase the flow rate through the bypass line. Once all the water has been drained and the steam is flowing properly, open the main steam valve and close the bypass line as well as the distributor backwash mechanism, thereby establishing the steam system.
Before introducing steam, it is essential to remove non-condensable gases from the steam system, and all equipment must be filled with liquid. The non-condensable gas on the shell side of the evaporation system also needs to be replaced. For the rest, you can prepare an ammonia tank, an absorption/desorption tower, granulation and washing units, urine tanks, etc.
