The main reason for water entrainment in the steam superheater is: 1. Excessively high water level in the saturated steam generator, which carries water into the superheater. 2. During the startup of the steam system, the superheater is not activated in a timely manner, resulting in saturated steam cooling inside the superheater. 3. Poor water quality leads to foaming, which occurs when there is too much salt in the water; steam then carries water into the superheater.
