After the clinker is crushed and transferred from the conveyor to the hopper, the material that has passed through the vibrating screen is then conveyed by a conveyor to another hopper at the same height. After it falls into the crusher, it is lifted again by a conveyor to the hopper and vibrating screen outside. Doesn’t this result in high energy consumption? Why not just place a crusher right in the room next to the vibrating screen in the yard? Is there something wrong with the design?
Hehe, I think it’s reasonable. For materials that are a mixture of large and small pieces, screening is generally carried out first; this helps to reduce the amount that needs to be crushed, thereby lowering energy consumption (the energy required for crushing is much higher than that for screening). It also prevents the properly sized pieces from being over-crushed.
Similar to the second floor, this approach increases the processing capacity of the circular vibrating screen; however, it allows some of the fine materials to be screened out first, thereby reducing the amount that needs to be processed by the crusher and cutting energy consumption

But you can’t guarantee that the crusher will be able to crush to the required standard in one go.
There might also be safety considerations at play. Since both are moving devices, could there be a risk of resonance if they are too close to each other?
