When designing, we prefer a higher temperature for the vaporizing agent. We use air vaporization, and the furnace type is a circulating fluidized bed. Is it feasible to use gas to preheat the air directly? According to available information, the ignition point of artificial gas is around 570°C. Does this mean that when the air is preheated with the gas, if air leaks into the gas mixture, it will only burn at temperatures above 570°C and will not explode? We use positive pressure operation; gas flows outside the tubular heat exchanger, while air flows inside it. Please ask the experts in this forum for some advice. Thank you first!
I’m also very interested in the poster’s question; not only does gas leakage lead to explosions, but dirt, gas dust and moisture, as well as scaling in the carbon filter, also affect heat transfer. How to prevent explosions and clean them up?

1. Air mixing with gas can very easily result in explosive gases, with consequences that are unimaginable. 2. Air leaks into the gas, increasing the oxygen and nitrogen content in it. Since I am not aware of the manufacturer’s production process, I can only guess; generally speaking, high oxygen levels are also detrimental to production.
1: There is still a possibility of air leakage. 2: Why not use preheated steam to preheat the air instead? That would be safer.
What we use now is to generate steam first and then preheat the air; it would be great if we could preheat the air directly! What I want to know is whether a small amount of air leaking into gas at over 570°C causes combustion or an explosion.
If the air is preheated directly, a 2520 thick-walled pipe with a single pass is used; steam sealing is applied for the pipe running through the wall. Will there still be any problems? Because **there are no guidelines on this matter yet.
