If a flame arrester is to be installed on the CO pipeline, which type is suitable?
The design of a flame arrester primarily takes into account pressure drop, whether there is liquid present, the properties of the medium, as well as the diameter of the pipe; it seems there are no other requirements.
Actually, there are quite a few things to keep in mind: there are those designed to prevent deflagration and those designed to prevent detonation. The way they are installed at the ends of pipes or inside pipes also differs. I’m collecting information to write a paper on the selection of flame arrestors. Please pray that I can finish it soon, haha :D
