Discuss the working principle of Martin slag removers

The Martin slag remover consists of a drive unit made up of an electric motor and a gearbox, electrical equipment, the main body of the Martin slag remover, ash discharge pipes, and slag tanks. After being slowed down by the gearbox, the electric motor drives the cam to rotate; this in turn causes the connecting rod to move back and forth, which further pulls on the lever and makes the gears rotate, thereby causing the drum to spin and crushing the ash and slag that fall from the ash discharge pipe (i.e., the ash hopper, which is connected to the boiler), allowing them to enter the ash chute equipped with a water seal. On the other hand, the lever also drives the ash pushing plate to move back and forth, continuously pushing the ash out of the ash tank and thus completing the ash removal process. The Martin slag remover features a compact structure, small size, easy installation, and reliable operation, but it has a low slag discharge capacity. Martin slag removers are commonly used in chain boilers with an evaporation capacity of 6 t/h or more, or in other boilers that require continuous slag removal.
