PROii8.0 automatically closes the file as soon as a new one is created

I installed PROii8.0; it worked fine before, but lately whenever I click to create a new file, the program closes immediately. What’s the reason? I searched online and found that it’s due to a conflict between \"MS Optimization Master\" and PROii – not only Optimization Master, but also other programs conflict with PROii. As long as you use the junk removal feature, PROii will close automatically as soon as you try to open a file. Could someone with expertise please advise me on how to solve this problem? I can’t find any solutions anywhere; could the experts on the forums help me out? ! Thank you here. It’s probably not an expiration issue, as my colleague and I installed it at the same time. I have carried out several simulation calculations using it, while my colleague probably hasn’t used it, but has opened it. Now, the new files I create get closed, but when I try on my colleague’s device, new files can be created successfully. (Please, the moderator, add a color and help recommend one.)
Mine too – it doesn’t work anymore. Is it really because of the Optimization Master software?

Solution: Completely remove Super Rabbit and Optimizer Master, and then repair or reinstall ProII. Additionally, it is best not to install software such as one-click recovery; ProII does not conflict with 360, so 360 can be used to maintain the computer. It should be noted that sometimes, even after uninstalling the software with poor compatibility mentioned above, the problem described by the original poster still occurs; in such cases, consider reinstalling the system and then installing ProII properly. This problem also troubled me for a long time, but I eventually figured out a solution on my own. I hope it will be helpful to everyone.

However, as for the latest situation, the personal computer I’m using now also has ProII and the green version of Super Rabbit installed; I’ve used Super Rabbit for cleanup on both my personal and work computers. My personal ProII computer can still create new files without any problems, but my work computer cannot do that. How is this explained then? ? ? I really don’t understand. . Annoying
5# leefun, your personal computer might be an exception; software and hardware compatibility is quite complex. My answer is based on my own experience, and that’s simply how it is – there’s no logical explanation for it. We may not be able to find any reason either; we can just say that the compatibility is poor. There’s no need to delve too deeply into such issues – as long as it works, that’s enough!
I’ll be able to use it when I reinstall this year, but during the installation process the TD2.0 got stuck and wouldn’t move; I had to close the CMD window before I could proceed. Then it can also be used normally. No problems found yet. New issues will be added in the future; thank you all.
Use 8.1 or 8.2; PROII8.0 is unstable
8.1 also has this problem, which is really troublesome; its performance is far inferior to that of Aspen

Indeed, it was the use of tools such as Magic Rabbit and Optimizer Master that caused the problem for the poster. The solution is to keep ProII running while performing the optimization, and then delete the unnecessary files. If the file called by proII is in use, it will not be deleted. Even if it has already been deleted, there is no need to reinstall it. The solution is to open the Control Panel’s Add or Remove Programs, locate the proII installer, and then click Repair.
