What is the difference between brine and chilled water?

On the PID diagram, BRS, BRR, and CHS,CHR represent brine and chilled water respectively. But what’s the difference? The process pipelines on site contain ethylene glycol solutions of different concentrations.
Frozen saline has a lower temperature than frozen water
Generally speaking, chilled water refers to water at a temperature of 7-12 degrees. Brine is frozen saltwater, and its temperature can be below 0 degrees.
