Dear heroes, our factory's urea device (FI322) has a Verabar that detects gas flow. The flow rate is very small, the pressure is very small, and the pipe diameter may be 12cm. Since there is a small amount of water in the gas, if it is installed horizontally, there will be a small amount of water accumulation, so the indication often fluctuates. Can the problem be solved if I install it vertically?
The pressure port of the Veraba measuring gas should be located in the upper half of the pipeline, and the transmitter should be installed higher than the pressure port so that liquid will not enter the pressure pipe.
It is better to install it vertically. The pressure of the Veraba is collected through the small hole of the probe. If there is water accumulation, it is best to add a condensation tank. But it is best to use an integrated one, that is, the probe + three-valve group + transmitter, and eliminate the pressure guide pipe in the middle.
This uses a split detection element installed vertically on the upper part of the pipeline, and the transmitter is also installed on the upper part.
All Verabars used for gas flow measurement in our factory are installed vertically.
Water-containing gas must be installed at an angle of 45 degrees upwards.
The split Verabar you use can solve the above problems by installing it vertically, but the transmitter must be above the Verabar component and kept horizontal so that the water in it can flow back into the process pipeline. This reduces interference and ensures measurement.
What I mean is that the pipe is installed vertically. Now the pipe is installed horizontally, and the detection element is installed vertically on the pipe.
I don’t think it’s appropriate to use a power bar with such a small caliber. Please change the watch!
