The shielded pump does not generate pressure

When our plant starts the pump, the pressure fails to build up; the outlet pressure gauge shows some movement at the time of startup but then drops again. The liquid level in the return tank is normal, the current levels are also normal, and the vent valve is open. We hope that experts can help analyze what is causing the failure to generate pressure – why the shielded pump cannot create pressure. Thank you
The shielded pump does not generate pressure. Based on the possible reasons you mentioned, it’s likely related to the suction pressure; probably the inlet pipeline is blocked. Try cleaning the filter screen
Is there any blockage in the inlet, or should we check whether there is an issue with the rotation direction of the pump motor? Is the range selected for the instruments appropriate, and are there any problems with the instruments themselves?
The inlet pipeline is not blocked, and the instruments are working fine; it was checked when starting the pump, and the motor is rotating in the correct direction – everything is normal.
Do shielded pumps have a water seal? If so, check if there is air intake!
Our factory also uses shielded pumps, and this issue occurs with the crude methanol feed pump during operation. Please check whether the gas has not been completely expelled, and whether it’s related to the pressure return pump.
If it is a pressurized reflux pump, this refers to three-column distillation, as there is a gas-liquid mixture in the pressurized reflux tank. There will be gas. More exhaust vents will do.
The current is definitely abnormal; with no pressure pump at the outlet, the load is very low, so the current must be low. Has it been disassembled? Is there a problem with the impeller?
It depends on the specific working conditions! It has a lot to do with imports! Also, make sure to release all the air!
If the level of the return fluid drops, it’s probably a problem with the indicator. Don’t your pumps have cooling for their housings?
