There is a seal leak in the needle valve disc, and the pressure is high; are there any methods for handling this online?
The valve element of a needle valve is a very sharp cone that inserts into the valve seat like a needle. Needle valves can withstand higher pressures than other types of valves; leaks caused by the packing are due to damage to the sealing surface, and it is sufficient to replace the worn-out parts in order to continue using the valve!
The packing gland can be tightened one more time to see if there is still leakage; there is no other solution – it will have to be replaced during maintenance when the machine is shut down.
There is no other way; pressure repair is not recommended.
