Problems with flexible connections in pipes and equipment

In engineering design, metal hoses used in several types of environments have not yet seen a satisfactory solution. 1. For weighing systems: at normal pressure, temperatures above 150°C, and in acidic media. Domestic metal hoses are typically claimed to be capable of withstanding temperatures up to 160°C, but in actual use they start to soften at around 120°C； 2. It is used for connecting the inlet and outlet pipes of materials in fragile and deformable devices such as glass, graphite, and polyethylene. The pressure involved is usually within the range of ±0.1 MPa. Ordinary metal-lined PTFE hoses are not suitable for this purpose, and hoses similar to expansion joints are even less appropriate. In a Japanese document, I came across a pure PTFE corrugated hose with a pressure resistance range of -0.1 MPa to 1.0 MPa. In China, at most, there are PTFE spring-type flexible connections that can be used in normal-pressure environments; however, they have poor temperature resistance and even worse pressure resistance ； Metal hoses or metal-lined PTFE hoses are commonly used on pipelines nowadays; they work fine under normal pressure and at normal temperatures.
