Our company’s rectifiers adjust their load daily to save energy. Electricity is cheaper at night.
Equipment is bought to be used; otherwise, why buy it?
Frequent load adjustments can have an impact on the safe operation of transformers over the long term.
I heard that with such adjustments, 3,200 yuan can be saved in electricity costs per day. Moreover, the price of caustic soda is currently high, leaving little profit, so the company’s management is keen on adjusting the load; sometimes even large companies pay close attention to costs.
Operating at light load is harmless to the rectifier.
It can be adjusted frequently; as long as it does not exceed the rated power of the rectifier, no damage will occur.
It’s designed to be adjustable, but frequent adjustments can have an impact on its lifespan; however, it’s meant to be used, and when it breaks, it’s replaced with a new one.
