Firstly, the chemical engineering program at East China University of Science and Technology is a **first-level discipline**; it has key research laboratories, and it is considered one of the most important disciplines in Shanghai (though this might be an exaggeration). Chemical process engineering is also a **key discipline**. Just from this perspective, the admission threshold for the chemical engineering major is higher each year than that for chemical technology (there are some difficulties in transferring between these majors). As for specific disciplines, I would recommend you consider 01 Chemical Reaction Engineering and 06 Chemical Process Technology and High-Efficiency Equipment; this is because there are many highly skilled experts at East China University of Science and Technology in the field of equipment development.
