Our company’s newly built facility is equipped with storage and transportation systems; there are wax-contaminated oil tanks and residue oil tanks that require the installation of heating coils. I would like to know what type of anti-corrosion treatment should be used for these coils – sandblasting or mechanical rust removal? What kind of paint should be used? Should it be the same as that used on the inner walls, or is another type needed?
Corrosion protection can be carried out in accordance with GB 50393-2008 \"Technical Code for Corrosion Protection of Steel Oil Storage Tanks\"; silicone heat-resistant coatings are generally used for the heating coils.
