In AQ3022-2008, a \"flammable and explosive area\" is defined as Class A and Class B areas as defined in GB 50016. The question lies in this \"area\"... Looking at GB 50016, the term \"area\" is not mentioned at all. It’s all about factories, warehouses, and the like... So, does this “area” include the fire separation distances required for Class A and Class B factories? I would be grateful for your advice!
This question is too profound^_^ I think the original poster’s understanding is correct. A safety zone is a range, a spatial concept. What part of a certain distance range, or which buildings, facilities, equipment, etc. are included.
I think Class A and Class B are classifications of the fire hazard of substances. If these substances are present in a location, it can be defined as a flammable and explosive area. Of course, this area must meet the fire separation distance standards. The above opinions are for reference only (further discussion is welcome)

My understanding is that the explosion-proof area includes buildings such as factories, production facilities, warehouses, and loading/unloading platforms, as well as the corresponding designated explosion-proof zones. The specific requirements can be found in the \"GB 50058-92 Code for Design of Electrical Installations in Explosive and Flammable Environments.\" If the requirements regarding fire separation distances are followed, the distances will be too large; the entire factory as well as the surrounding areas will become flammable and explosive zones.:) :-)
AQ 3022 does not state that the classification should be based on the explosion-proof zones specified in GB 50058... There is a difference between fire hazard and explosion protection...
