Installation of the enclosure wall for the gas holder

This post was last edited by lyhh9024 on 2010-3-28 at 20:35. It was mentioned in the previous safety assessment that our gas tanks need to be enclosed by a wall and separated from other workshops. Is such a requirement reasonable? What is the basis for it?
The suggestions put forward in the safety assessment are correct; for details, refer to Article 9.1.1.1 of the \"Industrial Gas Safety Regulations\": \"New wet-type cabinets should not be installed in densely populated areas. They should be located away from important facilities such as large buildings, warehouses, communication and transportation hubs, and should be placed in well-ventilated locations.\" A fence should be installed around the gas holder, along with fire access roads and firefighting facilities; lightning protection devices should also be installed on the top of the holder. ”
Hehe, I’ve learned it, but for our gas tanks, we’ve only built retaining walls around them!
The gas holder should be enclosed by a wall; should this wall be solid?
It doesn’t make sense. We’ve never had any walls; there’s only a barrier to prevent collisions
Use fencing for isolation; the fence adjacent to the outside of the factory area should be a solid wall
The gas tanks encountered were enclosed by railings; solid walls were also used, and steel plants generally employ railings
