Your question is too general. When you talk about storage and transportation, there are sulfuric acid transport tanks and fixed storage tanks for sulfuric acid. Sulfuric acid transport tankers must have hazardous materials markings. The attachment should have an acid release valve. The attachments of fixed storage tanks shall be equipped with safety plugs. The tank body can be welded using ordinary steel plates. But the weld quality must be ensured. It is recommended to use stainless steel globe valves for the valves, while cast iron can be used for the pipes; ordinary steel plates are also an option, but their service life is shorter than that of cast iron. I have the same question. I want to know whether HDPE or PE is used for concentrated sulfuric acid at room temperature (78%).
