What are the requirements for using standard galvanized pipes and thin-walled galvanized pipes for cable routing? The standards require that thin-walled components cannot be welded; so how is the grounding wire installed? Can 3/4 galvanized pipe be used for VV-4*2.5?
1. Galvanized steel pipes are generally used in environments that require load-bearing capacity or explosion protection. 2. I’m not sure how to ground telecommunication pipes; since welding isn’t allowed, there must be another way, such as drilling holes to pass through wire terminals and then connecting the wires? 3, 4.*2.5 I usually use pipes with a diameter of 25. There are specific requirements regarding the pipe diameter: it should be at least 1.5 times the radius, or 40% of the area. Additionally, the length and the number of right-angle bends also play a role; there’s no need to choose pipes with a diameter of 20.
Adding to point (2) above: Generally, if it is meant to be used with pipes, holes cannot be drilled in those pipes. Whether for explosion protection or corrosion resistance. Breaking the seal loses its effectiveness. Use two pipe clamps to secure the grounding flexible cable to the pipe, and apply conductive anti-corrosion paste.
When black steel pipes are connected by threads, a bridging ground wire should be welded at both ends of the connection, or a specialized ground wire clamp should be used for bridging. For the bonding grounding wires of galvanized steel pipes or flexible metal wire protection tubes, special grounding wire clamps should be used for bonding; welding connections shall not be employed.
